Luke O’Donovan
Luke graduated from UCC in 2007 with an Honours BCL Degree having attended the evening Degree Course. Luke joined the firm of O’Donovan Murphy & Partners, Solicitors LLP in 2008 as a trainee Solicitor indentured to Florence Murphy, passing the Law Society Professional Practice Course Apprenticeship Programme and Qualifying as a Solicitor in 2011.
Since qualification Luke has completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Banking Law and Practice and now offers specialist advice and services in this area to both banks, borrowers, corporate entities and private individuals. Expert knowledge in the area of Banking Regulation, Lending Practices, Securitisation and Default Options and Consequences has led to a major area of growth for the practice recently.
Luke specialises in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Banking and Insolvency Law, Probate/Administration of Estates, Commercial and Company Law as well as Litigation. Luke also has a special interest in Employment Law.
